ASRB will hold on an online competitive preliminary examination in June – July 2011 for recruitment to the posts of Assistants to be posted  at ICAR HQ and its Research Institutes : 

• Assistant : 258 posts (UR-189, OBC-40, SC-15, ST-8)  (PH-6), Pay Scale : Rs 9300-34800 Grade Pay  Rs 4600/-v in ICAR Hq., Rs.4200/- at other institutes, Age : 20-27 years, Qualification : Graduate

Application Fee :  Rs.1000/- if payment is made online and Rs.1500/- if paid offline. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Women category are exempted from paying the application fee.

How to Apply : Register Online at ASRB website from 17/05/2011 onwards. The closing date for receipt of filled in application at ASRB is 17/06/2011. Last date is 30/06/2011 for the candidate from remote areas.

1. Beginning date of Applications: 17/05/2011
2. Last date of Applications: 17/06/2011 and 30/06/2011 for candidates of far-flung areas
3. Tentative dates for Prelim Exam: 11/07/2011onwards
4. Tentative date for Mains Examination: August, 2011
